A painter waits at a bus stop. She doesn’t usually talk to strangers. Ten minutes later, she’s glad she did.
A ten-minute comedy about oil painting, bad boyfriends, and brief companionship in everyday mundanity.
In 2023, Painting of Two Girls at a Bus Stop won Alberta Playwriting Network’s Edmon’ten’, a ten minute play competition, and was featured at Workshop West Springboards Festival as a staged reading with direction by Andrew Ritchie.
In 2026, the play was produced as a staged reading in the University of Alberta’s New Works Festival.
